Conceived on the foundation of two successful local vegan cookbooks, as well as a vegan dining guide to Halifax, T.O.F.U., an independent vegan magazine, has found a home both across Canada and in such far-off places as Germany and Australia.

Now, after a few moves and a shift in the magazine’s operations, T.O.F.U. is ready to once again present what it is to live and breath as a vegan in a world that smells fishy.

Prior to its international launch through the magazine’s website, a national tour is planned. Accompanied with vegan and veggie musicians on each stop, as well as local veggie and activist organizations, the tour will be a celebration of a way of life as well as a reason for like-minded people to come together.
